It's been a while...
As most of you probably know by now, Eric's father passed away this past Sunday morning at 1:00 am.
Eric called me at about midnight Saturday night to tell me that they didn't think his dad would make it through the night so I got dressed and headed over to his parents house in Clinton.
As soon as I got there Eric went to check on his dad and he had passed away...
He had been battling with cancer for about a year, and it finally won out.
The most important thing is the fact that he was a believer, so we all know where he is and that he is truly blessed right now and just waiting for the rest of us to get there to see how great it really is..
I want to thank everyone who was able to make it to the visitation and/or funeral. I also want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers as I know it meant a lot to Eric and his mom. They seem to be doing ok, just taking it one day at a time.

Oh Xanga how I have missed thee..
It has certainly been too long since I last updated, I really do intend to be better about posting...
So what all has happened lately?
Well, a few of us celebrated Eric's 24th birthday, which is actually not until this Wednesday the 30th. If you want to see what happened, you can find pictures HERE
We had a lot of fun and missed those of you that weren't able to make it!
We are in the process of replacing our fence that was damaged by the storm/tornado a few weeks ago
I cannot believe it is already almost May! It will be a year since I graduated from MC and so much has happened since then.....while it has been a great year, I really do miss all my friends that were either right next door or right down the road. Now there are states seperating us, and it's not just a knock on the door for a late night talk or run for ice cream...
My new job is going great, I have switched to the morning shift which I really like because although I start early in the morning around 5 or 6 am. I am done around noon and have the rest of the day to do other things and can actually get things done!
Only a few more months until Amanda comes home for good! I am so excited and I cannot wait for her to be back here and we can hang out together again..
I don't know if anyone will read this or not, but if you do I hope you have a great day

Happy New Year!
Well I certainly hope that you all had a wonderful 2007!
As 2007 ends and 2008 begins here are a few things that I am grateful for:
The health of my family, friends, and loved ones
Having such a wonderful husband
Being truly blessed with awesome friends
Being able to see Amanda for Christmas, I cannot wait until you come back for good!
Being blessed with a wonderful home and job
I can't wait to see what this year has in store for all of us...
So what did YOU do for New Year's?
Eric and I went out to eat at Chick-fil-A, got ice cream from Bop's, and then got fireworks.
We had so much fun shooting fireworks, but our poor dog is TERRIFIED of them and she simply would have nothing to do with them. She hid out until they were all over...
Tomorrow (well today now) we both have the day off so I think we may go shopping and to a movie..

Wow has it really been that long since I last posted here? Hmm...
Ok well here goes the latest!
We have found a house that we are putting an offer on tonight!
Here is the link to pictures of it

It is right down the street from where I work and it's such a perfect house for us!
I will be sure to let you all know how it goes...
Other than that not too much else going on but working and such. Eric and I actually did go to the fair last night with Amber and Chris, and although it was unusually hot we had alot of fun!
